Virgil's Story
Life
I did not graduate from Crestview, but attended from the 2nd grade through the 4th. I had Mrs. Cobb for 2nd, Mrs. Wyatt for 3rd, and Mrs. Hawkins for 4th. I transfered to The Collegiate Schools in 1960 where I began the 5th grade and graduated to attend Elon College on a football scholarship. By my senior year, we had won our conference over the last 3 years and were ranked #1 in the NAIA conference, and played in the Shriners Bowl in Schrevesport, LA. eling, and then to Southern Illinois University for a doctorate in rehabilitation. I co-own 4 outpatient rehabilitation clinics in Richmond, located inside 4 American Family Fitness Centers. I own an international certifying angency that certifies physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation allied health care practitioners in several areas of health care service delivery. I am married with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Although I was raised in the West End of Richmond, I moved to the Soutside in Midlothian upon my return from Illinois.
