Gina's Story
Guess I should do an update here before I let my membership expire. So where to start... Did my time in Jasper as a ski bum(bunny?)then decided to grow up and get a degree (Education) from U of A. Taught in Alberta and the BC interior before moving to Vancouver in '88 to get a Fine Arts Degree from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. Married, taught art for a number of years and then switched to teaching gifted students in the private school system. back to teaching gifted students but this time with the public system. Those kids keep me on my toes.
We live in a heritage house in Vancouver near Commercial Drive. I like the eclectic neighborhood; plenty of good coffee bars. Our son is at UBC in the engineering program and working harder than I ever did at university. We also have a German shepherd that we rescued last year. She has come a long way, beautiful dog. Still keep in touch with some of my old friends from Mac and always enjoy hearing how everyone is doing.
