Virginia's Story
Life
I graduated from Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing in 1961, and was a registered nurse for 30 years, taking an early retirement in '91, at which time I remarried and began a life of travel, spending time in FL and generally doing anything we want. I have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. I no longer play the trumpet, but my oldest granddaughter does. She is now a Graduate of Grove City College majoring in business communications. You know how it is in college when you discover you really want something other than what you chose, which was music major . She has a great voice (not just predjudiced) so if you need a soloist for any occasion, get in touch with me.
She is one of the photographers for their newspaper.
My oldest grandson is attending Temple University to study sports medicine and is a Senior..

ristown getting the guys ready for deportation and also travels a great deal for training of new equipment, systems etc. My husband and I love to travel. We have been to Alaska, Hawaii, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, Canada, several of the western states, New England and of course we love Florida in the winter.
Looking forward to our 50th reunion, though I still can't believe it!
Well, now it looks like I can't get to the 50th reunion! My granddaughter has chosen that date for her wedding. Sure wish I could see everyone--maybe in another 5 yrs. God willin' and the creek don't rise.
Update:
I am now a proud grandmother in law. The kids both work for the same company; he as an IT and she in marketing. They live nearby so that is a plus for her family.
In other news, my son is now preparing for deployment to Iraq in Jan. He is in the south for 2 months, home for the holidays and then 9 months tour. He is in a Stryker Unit.
