Ginny's Story
Life
Hi! I grew up in southern California mostly in the Antelope Valley, attended Rosamond High for two years,was very quiet and didn't get involved in anything except the yearbook and "drill team". I left school and was married to Rick Lambright in '66, had my daughter Lisa in '67, got divorced in 1972.I moved from Rosamond to nearby Lancaster, CA and in 1974 I joined the Air Force. My Air Force career took me to Grand Forks and Minot, North Dakota (9 years total), Vandenberg AFB on the central California coast, and Florennes Air Base, Belgium. I retired in 1994 after 20 years of service and lived in Las Vegas until recently. In 2002 I found love "in the nick of time" through classmates.com and a mutual friend, an old friend and co-worker from my Vandenberg days. for all these years. I have two adorable grandchildren, Ashley 15, and Jacob,12 years old. They live near Sacramento, CA. I love to travel and enjoyed visiting them while they were living in Germany. We plan to do lots more traveling, cruising and riding our Honda Goldwing motorcycle. I've been a real estate agent for 6 years, and am now a social media consultant working from home. Military
I do treasure the military experience and the hundreds of people who touched my life and made it so interesting! I wish I had been more outgoing, and been more effective in my job. But the missile maintenance career field for me was just a disaster. I tried, but the combination of politics and lack of technical expertise made it a miserable 20 years.
