Virginia Mann Murdy:  

Life was born in Denver at St. Joseph's Hospital, and grew up in the parkhill area. Attended Park Hill Methodist Church most of my life, and went to Stedman El., and Smiley, then East High. Worked at Children's hospital as a candy striper in early teens, then as a soda jerk in downtown Denver. Went to Western State college for a year, and then to Colorado University. Met my husband at a dance. He was just back from vietnam, and had only been out of the VA hosp for a short time. Dated one month and married 38 years ago. Have raised 7 foster children, and 6 of our own. Have 8 grandchildren, and two daughters from my husbands first marriage were found just 6 years ago, and now have 8 kids. The two oldest daughter from husbands first wife live in Tennesse, and we are very close to them. We are active, and very busy people, who walk, hike camp and ride bikes.
