Virginia's Story
During the month of Nov. 2008, I have experienced a first by becoming a GG.
I can hardly believe it! Forty eight years after graduating (or should I say, Yesterday) I am now a proud GG. My granddaughter is 21 and lives in California, so I have yet to see our sweet bundle of JOY! God has been good to allow me to live long enough to celebrate this day, but I'm hoping His mercy will endure yet awhile longer. I am now 66 years old, but if I don't confront a mirror too often, I still think I'm just a young girl. Life has been good! I've reconnected with many dear friends from the past and what a delight to communicate. Quite a difference from our earlier years of teenage expectations. If you're out there wondering about others you may have remembered, don't hesitate to make a contact. It's well worth the ...Expand for more

In August 2010 we had our 50th Class Reunion. It was a two day affair, the first being held at Uniontown Country Club and the second at the Summit. Our Committe worked very hard to contact everyone and we had a wonderful turnout. Alot of people were interested in doing it again but we wondered how we could possibly improve upon what we had achieved. We had a DJ who played all the old hits we grew up with, a great meal both nights, games and prize baskets and lots of testimonies and rememberances. I wish everyone could have been there to celebrate with us; however we had 4 deceased members and 13 absentees. Only 2 of those were people we could not locate.
