Walt's Story
Following High School I attended Oregon State University and following graduation I was commissioned as an officer in the Marine Corps. I served with the 1st and 3rd Tank Battalions, FMF as a platoon commander, company executive officer and company commander.
Following the service I attended Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland where I met my wife Dianna. After we graduated Dianna and I moved to Alaska. We practiced law...Expand for more
together in a small firm with offices in Anchorage, Kodiak and Seattle; we still travel between Anchorage and Vashon Island on occasion.However, since retiring we find ourselves spending the majority of our time on Vashon Island and doing less traveling. We have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Sorry we missed the reunion, but we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion next year in Baker City.
