Walter's Story
Life
Wow! Where to begin? Let's see, I guess those of you who knew me in School probably saw more of me outside of School huh? Contrary to the beliefs of many, I did NOT end up in jail or in the gutter. I was a rebel but decided to settle down, got married, had two beautiful children who have grown up to be wonderful adults.
In being grounded in family I decided to go into public service, so I became a Firefighter/EMT for the Town of Westborough (I guess to pay back my debt to society) I was also a Special Police Officer for many years (No kidding!) I spent many good years with the Town but decided to move on to something a little less life threatening. I always did love a thrill! Now I work for a telecommunications company as a Field Service Technician and I love it!
The fallout from all of this is I am now divorced, but it's not so bad. I recently moved to Maine, near the ocean, leaving behind the rat race of Mass but my heart still belongs to Westborough where most of my family lives, I love Maine bu...Expand for more
t I believe I will be back to Westborough someday. I have my freedom and free-will and I am very happy. I have learned many lessons in life and put them to good use everyday.
The interesting part has been trying to date again after 28 years of being in a committed relationship. Wow have things changed! I guess you can't take your date out drinking in the car anymore doing the Westborough 500, Burning out in your muscle car or park and party at the Airport, The res, Lake Chauncy or Apple Mary's, No more hangin out downtown or bonfires at the lake. What's this world coming to? I recently met someone from Westborough that I knew many years ago and I am completely enjoying a new relationship. Who would have thought you could re-connect so many years later and discover you have so much in common? I have found my happiness! Life is funny sometimes but we all eventually find our happiness. Anyway, enough for now. I would love to hear from all of you. Please feel free to drop me a note.
Peace, love and happiness.
