Flew my airplanes and drove my trucks coast to coast, authored a number of novels and hundreds of opinion and feature newspaper columns, built a miniconglomerate of print, audio, and video productions, went to college, fathered seven children, (five boys, two girls), had a beer with friends now and then, and lived it pedal to the metal for all it was worth ...
