Walter's Story
One day in 1970 I was walking into Sam's Roast Beef and instantly knew I had found the love of my life. Kathy Brown (Western class of 71) and I dated for a few years and got engaged to be married but the stress of getting through college and a large helping of immaturity resulted in us drifting apart. After a couple of chance meetings through the years in San Francisco, San Jose and Rocklin California and a couple of bad marriages Kathy sent me an e-mail asking what I was doing. Update Aug 2021. Still happily married and now a great grandfather. Almost retired but I love my job so will work a little longer. Will attend Kathy's Western HS reunion this year and can't wait for ours. Would be fun to replay our last football game with WHS.
Update Oct 2025. Still happily married, living in Rocklin CA and almost retired. Any chance of a 55-year reunion? Running out of time. Looking through the yearbooks bring back such great times and friends.
