Life I joined the Canadian Forces in Sep 1972 as a Military Policeman. I have been posted to Comox, BC ('73-'75), Moose Jaw ('75-''80), Lahr, West Germany ('80-'84), Winnipeg, MB ('84-'92), Borden, ON ('92-'94) and finally, Winnipeg again ('94-present). I lived six months in Eygpt in 1977 and then lived six months in the Golan Heights (United Nations observation zone between Israel and Syria)in 1997. I retired from the Regular Force in July, 1999 after 27 years (actually 26 yrs and 342 days completed). In July, 1999 I joined the Air Reserves as a Training Manager. In Jan 2001 I was promoted to Master Warrant Officer and then in May 2001 I was commissioned as a Captain. From Aug 2002 until Mar 2003 I served 8 months in Bosnia, at a place called Banja Luca. I was medically evacuated from that location for four weeks due an illness. I have ten grandchildren (grand- daughter aged 15 and a grandson aged 12) from my oldest daughter. My second daughter had two girl now 8 and 6 years old and one boy now 4. My youngest daughter is married to a retired military man and a farmer. They have five kids and that's all it is going to be, apparently. I attended Central's 100 Reunion and thought it was a great success except that of the 18 1972 Graduates only approximately 7 showed up, by my count.
