Wanda's Story
I moved back to Oklahoma in 1950 and married in 1956. Had two sons one in 1957 and 1959. Moved to Hurst
Texas in 1966 then was divorced in 1972. Worked as office manager for a builder of homes at one of the lakes in Fort Worth, Texas. Was single for 9 years then met my soul mate Col. Robert Balentine. We had a wonderful life for 31 years before he passed away in November of 2011. With this marriage came five more children. We lost his only daughter in 1989 then his youngest son in 2008. Antonio then the next one lives in Zurich Switzerland.. My two sons live near me. I have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and 2 great. Bob has 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughter along with 4 great. We are all very close so I am blessed to have a large family. Out of the 5 sons only 2 daughter-in-laws. I am active in a Methodist Church and in the community and have many friends in the theater as Bob was part time actor after leaving the Air Force after 25 years and was an Technical Writer in between. We both were active In the theater in Fort Worth and Bedford. Guess brings things up to date on my life, it is a good one..
