Wanda's Story
My husband, Jim and I live in Brimfield, MA. We have 3 grown children. Jeffrey, 29, is self employed in home/business contracting and has recently starting a home security business. Peter is 27 and graduated from Tulane University in May of 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. He accepted a position for a medical research institute in NYC in August of 2008. In 2009 he accepted an offer from JP Morgan and is enjoying his work and loves living in Manhattan. Our daughter Stefanie is 25 and graduated in May 2009 from Penn in Philadelphia. She is a nurse in the Medical Intensive Care unit at Mass General in Boston. She lives on Beacon Hill and is enjoying her job and friends. We are now down to just the two of us and our 2 dogs, a Chocolate Lab, Godiva and our pug, Gulliver. My hobbies include gardening, reading, scrapbooking and traveling. Up to this point most of our traveling had revolved around our kids. We have done some extensive traveling due to our daughter being a co...Expand for more
mpetitive gymnast for 14 years....always making the trips a family affair! Now that our kids are grown and on their own we are starting to do some of the traveling which is on outr list of places we'd like to see once we were done with college expenses. My husband and I recently went to Paris, which we loved. We just went on a Mediterranean cruise for 2 weeks and realized that while we enjoyed the places we visited, we do not like cruising! Too much wasted time on a boat when we could be exploring:) Next year Italy is on the menu. I haven't been there since a girls trip which I took with my cousins and aunt about 6 years ago. In 2011 I went to London with my girlfriend and later in the year went to The Netherlands with my brother to visit family on our father's side of our family. I did not end up graduating from South High as I moved and ended up graduating from Milford High...but since I was schooled in Framingham through my sophomore year, I obviously feel that is where my roots and memories are.
