Wanda's Story
A little History
Attended grade school in Oneida (Broad St)till 6th grade then we moved to Kenwood Heights and transferred to Sherill for remainder of 6th grade then to VVS until 10th grade. 10th grade is a story in itself. Took the GED and off to Okla. I lived and went to Collage in Ok. Then back to NY for a few years and to California for about total of about 25-30 yrs. Moved with my job (GTE) in So. Calif. to N. Calif. to 1 year in Ft. Wayne, IN and finaly Florida. Retired from GTE in 1999. I now work PT for Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce, I keep busy with church and Political mtgs and my retirement community. I write a newsletter for my retirement community every month, one for our Political Club every month ("The Conse...Expand for more
rvative Club of East Pasco) and bulletin for the church on Sundays, plus run the sound system, and teach Sunday School in the summer. I try to keep our Church Web site up to date. Just too busy for it all. Anyone that retires and says they are bored needs to get a life..ha
I trust everyone keeps avtive and remains part of the community. It is what keeps us YOUNG...
I do not have a great memory of everyone that I went to school with but give me a hint and I will probably recall.

My sister Shirley, cousins Bud and Marcia Schafer, Donna Schafer, Judy, Lenny and Brenda Snyder, and Stevens family in the Vernon area. Lee, Lyle and Leslie triplets.
