Wanda's Story
Life
I was married since 1953. Now a widow. Have 3 children and currently 6 grandchildren. Graduated from a nursing program in 1955 and retired as a R.N. in 1999. Had worked only part time in O.B. but enjoyed my department while I worked. We have traveled some, but want to do more and plan to do that soon. We have a new puppy to make up for the one we lost. Now 2 poodles...The mother and her daughter. One daughter in North Carolina with her husband and 3 children. One daughter has a son. try to find time working on genealogy. With the last name of Theige, it is easier than some other names in our family. My update as of 10/1/2011 is my husband of 58 years died 9/10/2011. It has been very hard and I still have a lot to do to get things in order. Hope to hear from old friends again. Update 1/10/2012: Staying busy and appreciate friends who live in Tulare. My members of my family call often to make sure I am ok. I intend to contact friends that are out of town. Life is just to short to not let them know how much they are cared about. My two poodles keep me going. They are good company when it is quiet around the house.
