Life Hi,......This is my Life.... I was born Waneta Louise Greaver in Hepzibah, West Virginia, Harrison County, on March 28, 1932. I'm third eldest child of Harry and Sarah May (Hess) Greaver. My Father, being a coal minor, we moved around quite a bit, wherever the mines took him. He passed away at age 52 on April 7,1942, leaving my mother a young widow of 38 with seven children to raise. My mother was a widow indeed and raised us children in the Union Mission Church, which sat high on a hill in Summit Park/Despard area. Most Of my early years were spent growing up in Despard, Summit Park area, and attended both the elementary and Junior High Schools. We moved from that area when my oldest brother Charles, joined the Navy, and so with his allottment check, my mother was able to buy a home for us in Arlington Addition. There I finished my ninth Grade, and just prior to attending Victory High School, I married my late husband, Bob Snell. He was a truck driver, musician, song writer and poet. I dropped out of school to be a full time housewife and mother, but later continued my education. Our union supplied us with six children.(They are among my photos in my profile.)
