Career: 24 years at Hewlett-Packard, laid off in 2003. Back working at HP on contract.
Sideline: 30 years professional rock musician, retired 1999, but recently working on a new CD.

Workplace
After college, I worked odd jobs for five years, then did 24 years at Hewlett-Packard, beginning in manufacturing, and working my way up to being a Learning Products Engineer. Laid off by HP in 2003, I was unemployed for a year, then went back to HP on a contract as an application development engineer and webmaster.
