Warren's Story

Life... WOW, I can't believe I am almost 50! Al ot has happened since High School. I actually had to leave school early because of my disfunctional family life. I completed by High School requirements and petitioned the school district for special dispensation. I was granted early graduation status due to special circumstances and actually received my High School diploma from Highline Community College. I furthered my education and received an AA from City University. I was basically on my own from the age of 16 and continued to work in the fast food manager until the age of around 25. I worked for a division of Greyhound Corporation and eventually ended up as a District Supervisor in Santa Barbara, California. I learned quite a bit about computers during this time and after a bit of difficulty I switch careers and worked for Boeing for about 1 year. I was then recruited by an industrial manufacturer and moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Through this job I was able to travel all over the world to exotoc places like Southeast Asia and Europe. I then became a management consultant and moved the San Diego, California. I founded a computer consulting company which I sold in 2007. I now spend a lot of my time between California, New York and the West Coast of Florida. So in shor...Expand for more
t, this is what I have been up to. I would love the opprotunity to hear from anyone who might remember me (good or bad). If you nare not a member you can look me up on my space. My email address is my first name (at) last name with a dot com at the end. Favorte Teacher: Mr. Bill Scholen. He always treated me with great respect and fairness. I never forgot it. Least Favorite Teacher: Ms. Rudy. Talked me into joining annual staff in my senior year instead of taking a free period. Took pictures for her, won several awards in state photo competition and then gave me an F upon exiting school. She also made sure I was left out of the yearbook. Nice. Honorable Mentions: Mr. Bill Cox: Let us use the career center main frame to play Star Trek. Mrs. Eulene Henderson: Taught me the art of small conversaion (even though I hate small talk to this day). Ms. Jo Spratt: What a crazy and delightful woman. Loved art; especially modern. I remember her giving one of the school potheads a "A" when they made an honest attempt to create something out of a lump of clay. Once she created this HUGE Jackson Pollock like painting and then tied it to the op of her car in an attempt to get it home (I think she drove a Volkswagon beatle). Anyway she later told me it blew off the car half way home.
