Wayne's Story
After VHS (1964) I attended NLSC, Monroe for one year and then took 6 months off to work at International Paper, Natchez. I married in 1966 and returned to La. Poly Tech, Ruston, LA., working my way through College as a const. worker, and then completed my BA in History,and in May 1969 began my active duty time with the Navy. I served aboard the USS Independence, CVA 62 during the Jordanian Crissis 1970-71, then returned back to LA. Tech for my Master's in Psychology/Counseling.
From 1973 until now, my life has been filled with Major Construction Projects working for Companies such as Bechtel, Stone and Webster, Rust Engineer...Expand for more
ing, Lockwood Greene Engineering, and CH2M HILL. I managed the CELEBREX Pharmaceutical project in Puerto Rico ($400 Million) and several other projects around the world from a few MM$ to several hundered millions.
I have two Step Daughters that my wife and I were blessed with raising. Both are beautiful, talented, and well Educated (Amy and Emily), the first works in England as a Medical Technical Writer, and the second is a Lawyer in Birmingham, AL. Emily and her husband Daniel (also a Lawyer with Balch and Bingham), have given us two beautiful Grand Daughters, (Josie, 22 Months, and Leighton, 2 months old). Life is wonderful!
