Wayne's Story
Life
Hi Classmates, It's nice to see some names of old friends. It brings back good memories. Well, I spent a couple of years at Duquesne U. before joining the Air Force. The AF sent me to school for computers and then transferred me to Andrews AFB, near DC. It's only a few hours to Pittsburgh, so I spent many weekends coming home. I met my wife there at Duquesne and when she graduated we eventually bought a house in Maryland just outside of DC. We have 2 great kids. My daughter is married and works at and graduated from U. of Md. and my son is 24 and is trying to start a career. I've got one granddaughter about 4 and one grandson born in Nov. of 2009.
I was divorced for several yrs before getting remarried to a wonderful lady in May...Expand for more
of 2003. Her family and I get along great! I have all sorts of relatives from her previous marriage and they all treat me like an important part of their family.
I have a great career as a computer consultant in the DC area. Although I still work in DC, I live 90 miles south of DC on Lake Anna in central Virginia. We just got a new boat in May of 2008 and it is awesome. Our 2 dogs will not let us get into that boat unless we take them too. Then they jump in the lake and scare the fish away while I'm trying to catch a few.
I just bought a used Corvette in Oct. 2009 to play with on weekends when we aren't on the boat.
