Wayne's Story
I previously worked for Agilent Technologies in Wilmington, DE. Agilent is a very supportive company in the community. They have supported me in establishing a volunteer fishing program for challenged children. They also supported my activity volunteering in the local schools trying to get children interested in science and education instead of drugs and gangs. Because of the support, I have received 2 Delaware Volunteer of the year awards and a Jefferson medal for volunteerism from the US congress.
My wife Kathy and I also volunteer with a Golden Retriever Rescue group. We act as a foster home for dogs in the program. We specialize in fostering the older dogs.
Update: After multiple health issues in 2010, I am now on permanent medical disability. During my working years, I travelled all over the world. Enjoyed meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Especially enjoyed my trips to China, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

ack to Kremmling again because my immune system attacked my lungs. Still do as much fishing as possible, but no trout fishing. Prefer to fish for fresh water fish like largemouth bass, bluegill, etc. Now, I prefer to get children interested in fishing rather than going fishing myself. Just love to see the sparkle light up in the eyes when they catch their first fish.
I am now working with the Univ. of Delaware and the YES U CAN foundation to put together a wheelchair fishing, bird watching, and nature walk program for MS patients and disabled vets. I still run the handicapped children fishing program to do a cookout for the family, take the children fishing, and help children and families with disabled children learn that they can enjoy nature and sports, no matter what their disability.
Have 2 boys and 3 granddaughters. Don't get to see them often as my oldest son is in Madison, WI and my other son is in Seattle, WA. Granddaughters are 10 and twin 5 year olds.
