I have driven past the school in the last year 9/09. I look at that dark red/brown brick facade and wonder.
I wonder about a lot of things though. The first time I was in any vehicle and made 120-mph was in a mustang with most everything removed but the seats - a nutcase on the throttle - down the deep hills on McDonogh Road.
I suppose I was the bigger moron, I was along for the ride...
In 1975 when I should have been preparing to graduate I was instead jumping out of perfectly good airplanes in the skies above Ft. Bragg NC. I had really good training for that.

A WHOLE lot of water and many thousands of miles have separated me from the kid I was in the days I 'ought' to have been going to school.
With the vast intelligence of someone all of 17 years old I chose to jump ahead of all my peers and get started earning a living.
I reasoned that when eveyone else was graduating I would be a leap and a bound ahead already.....
Ahh the shortsightedness of youth....
I'm pretty sure most of my peers have vastly exceeded my successes.
I'm still kicking though and there are still few things that stack up to being able to get from 0-60 mph in 3 seconds.
Still a sucker for fast.
