Wayne's Story

Life July 2018 Update - 2nd Retirement (perhaps this one will stick) Still serving on several company boards I invested in, and doing some volunteer work. Few may remember me from Olympic High, as my class picture is not even listed for the class of 1971 yearbook (not really sure why that happened). I was only at Olympic my senior year. I am an "Air Force" brat, and Olympic was my 13th school attended since 1st grade. The Air Force moved us extensively, and my family lived all over the U.S. and Europe while growing up. I retired at 58, having sold my firm. I was CEO and equal partner of The Insource Group. Hated retirement!!! Ultimately went back to work as the CEO of a small technology consulting firm, with the charter to make it "bigger" consulting firm. I am also the past President / founder of Acclaim Services, Inc. a professional technical consulting and staffing firm which I started in 1993 in Dallas, Texas. I owned 2 active technology companies, the second being Acclaim Telecom Services a speech recognition / speech provider application development firm, as well as an investor is several other technology companies.. Past work experience was as the Regional Sales Manager for Cadre Technologies, sales rep for Hewlett Packard, and initial job out of UNCC was as a design engineer for E-Systems. I am happily married since 1981, and have two sons. I was very active with the Boy Scouts organization, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Tech Titans which is the largest technology trade organization in Texas. I serve as a Board of Director and the Executive Steering Committee for Tech Titans (Tech Titans dot Org).. I am also a member of the advisory panel for the Business Information Systems Degree from Texas Christian University (TCU).
