Wayne's Story

good to see you again. it's been a long time no see. as you can imagine my life has taken some radical turns starting the second i dropped the awesome lady j off graduation night and left town with my sister for greener pastures in orange co. this as you can expect created some family/legal issues and resulted in a regretted missed relationship. i was fortunate to start seriously dating my preschool sweetheart, she always gave me her cookies even back then, she turned out to be a ninth cousin three ways (dating back to 1639-ish), and my mom double dated with her dad. no we're not from arkansa and i do have a full set of teeth. we both graduated from ca state fullerton, me in business and art (ceramics and glass blowing) her in anthropology. during this period i was quite the peace nic, not yet fully recovered. we are still together over 50 years later (she has real endurance). have two kids, she is a special ed teacher the other working on his third degree (will he ever get out of school). two grandsons - one married with aspirations of moving to brazil the other going back ...Expand for more
to school for a volcanology degree. we are both retired after 30 years with farmers insurance -she an it consultant and me the marketing materials manager. now we travel a little (cruises, hawaii or pismo), entertain a lot (annual chili cook off, wine club xmas dinner, family and friends stuff), playing with the cavaliers or doing our own things - she enjoys all things computer and crafts, me building furniture (mainly arts and craft stuff) and construction - finished building a new garage shop. she's a champ putting up with the mess and never-ending projects, sometimes it's like the winchester house around here. someday i'll get the cars back in the garage (maybe not). well it was nice seeing you, let's do it again. have your people contact our people and we'll do lunch sometime. ever down, over or up our way (yorba linda) drop by for a drink or whatever, we rarely go to bakersfield except to see the cousins or to stop off at dewars on the way to somewhere else. we joke about having a three-mile limit from home. remember no dress code - underwear optional. last edit 7-25-2020
