Wayne's Story
Since graduation from ONU in 1971, we moved to Iowa City, Iowa for Anatomy graduate training, then worked at Argonne National Laboratory near Chicago for three years till I decided what I wanted to do "when I grow up"! We moved from the Midwest to sunny and beautiful North Carolina to attend Wake Forest University Physician Assistant Program from '75 thru '77. pational medicine, and urgent care practices. I have retired in 2013 in Winston-Salem, NC, and we are enjoying our retirement and have both of our sons relatively close: Andy is in Greensboro, and Daniel is in Swannanoa. Andy has two children and we enjoy seeing our grandkids often.
We are active in our church here in Winston-Salem, enjoy Bible study and singing in choir. God has truly provided a Christian support group thru our local church involvement.
