Weldon (Wayne)'s Story
Life
After graduation from Fortuna High in 1971, we moved to oklahoma. I enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in April, 1972 and retired in October, 1994 after 22 years with the rank of Master Sergeant. I married in august, 1977 to a wonderful girl from oklahoma and have one son, michael. After retirement, we relocated to southeastern oklahoma where we bought a home. I am semi- retired. hile. My son joined the navy after graduation. After 4 years, he decided to get out and complete his education. He received a BA in history from San Diego State and is currently living and working in San Diego. Michael married a girl from San Diego in november 2006. Needless to say, his mother and I are anxious for some grand kids.
