UPDATE!!! My grandsons, Jayden and Jared, were born on Aug 18th 2005, two months premature, weighing 3lbs 2ozs and 1lb 10oz respectively. They are now at the time of this update, two months old and both are home from the hospital doing remarkably well at 9lbs and 5lbs. Truly a testament to God and the marvels of modern medicine.
I have 3 kids;21 yr old male whos married and expecting my first grandbabies (yes, twin boys!), 16 yr old male (who thinks he's boss (yea right!), is hell on wheels (literally),and if he keeps that crap up I keep telling him he's gonna go blind one day (HA! HA! Well atleast HE's not making me a grandma, Thank God!) and a 9 yr old female who's just starting softball and gymnastics (keeping old mom here hopping)....Expand for more
After I divorced, I bartended my way through college as a mature adult, recieved an associates degree, and am currently working as a registered veterinary techinician for my local humane society where I've been employed the last 10 yrs. Thus I have a whole slew of 4 legged furry "kids" as well. I must say, they are better minding and more housebroke than my 2 legged kids. I love my job so it really doesnt seem like that old 4 lettered word "work".
A year ago I moved into my younger brother's house to help him out and give our mom a well deserved break, since Tony is quadraplegic and has been since he turned 21. This new arrangement is working out quite well for all of us, better than I ever could have imagined. Family truly is EVERYTHING!
