Well, lets see......am a transplant to Northern Alberta (since 1986)....lived on an hobby farm near Tofield and now am in Edmonton. Also lived in the Okanagan in the late 60's and again in the mid 70's. Worked in the oil industry most of my life, except in the 80's when I taught Aerobic Dance in Abbeydale, where I lived at the time. Have four children and 13 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Worked at the same place for 16 years and was forced to retire due to some medical issues, but am doing OK......I miss Calgary like crazy, have one son & his family there, and a few relatives still. Have been to one of the coffee meetings that the 'Class of 65' has had and had a blast. Hoping to make it to more..when the weather is good...don't like driving on the highway all that much (been in two really bad car accidents).....Maybe there could be one in Edmonton??? Don't think I have really changed a lot since high school...(except for the obligatory wrinkles & age spots - lol - but I earned every one) still love friends and music...but for the last several years have been totally into Queen (those of you who may remember me from School would remember my "Beatle Days"..(lol).. I collect all things Queen, I saw Queen with Paul Rodgers in 2006 in Vancouver, and still love Freddie....even though he wasn't there, his spirit certainly was. (They did have him on the jumbotron during Bohemian Rhapsody)... AND my passion......best described by a quote I borrowed (so someone else feels the same as me) "I am obsessed with a Man I have never met and yet feel I have known him all my life" - don't know if you knew this one...Expand for more
