Wendy's Story
Life
I moved to Toronto in 1976 to take nursing in English as my French was never going to get me anywhere in Quebec. I left the the townships of Quebec and the beauty of StJean/Iberville behind for Toronto. After 2 years of nursing school & a year out working,I met and married my husband within 16 months,(eloped) and have now been married 25+years, we have two children-a 21yr old son & a 19yr old daughter. We just celebrated a combo 25th Anniversary with our double- 50th birthdays-we threw a huge party, our reception, only 25 years late! rs!!!I am still working at the same hospital, after 28 years. We spend our holidays at a rental cottage that has given our family and friends many precious memories which continue to this day. I would dearly love to catch up with the friends I left behind in St Jean in '69-just to know what became of them.People like Connie Q, Roger S & Shelley F .I spent 9 years as a Girl Guide leader and am now a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Don't let anyone tell you that getting older can't be a lot of fun. Steve and I have a great marriage, and feel very blessed. I would love to hear from anyone that remembers me.
