College
I started going to MCC for Medical Assisting, and as I got farther into it I realized it wasn't what I wanted to do. So I later enrolled in the EMT-B program and really enjoyed it, I graduated with my certificate and was towards the top of my class. Morgan County doesn't really have a whole lot of opportunites for EMT's, so I went to a two week class for CNA's (certified nurse assistant) and I still have my certificate. I'm currently looking into going back to school for Mortuary Science.
Workplace

currently work in Home Healthcare and part time in hospitals. I'm still a CNA and that's what I do, I've changed jobs often because there is a lot of turnover in this field and there is not always work where I'm at, so I have to look for a new company. I really do like what I do, I wish it was more steady and my position wasn't treated like the bottom of the pond! I'm really looking forward to getting into Mortuary Science, I've been volunteering some time on the weekends at a Mortuary and I absolutely LOVE IT!!
