Wendy's Story
Workplace- I am now retired :)
I worked with substance abusers for 20 years and specialized with working with the mentally ill
in the last 12 years. an incredible career!
Update July 2009:
I just turned 61 and have 5 grandchildren. If I had one word to describe this time of my life, I would call it "amazing." The only glitches are age related, like thinking I can run a mile when I can 'only' think it.
I have had some unusual and quite interesting life experiences, like finding my "birth" family. I was adopted, if you did not know. I now am the youngest of 5 children, having 3 brothers and a beautiful sister. They are all much older but other than kids and grandkids, they count as the happiest part of my life.
