Wendy's Story

Life So...nothing glamorous... I live in North Huntingdon and have three children (boys) who now attend Norwin Schools. My oldest son (Brennan) is a 2007 Norwin graduate now attending Pitt to study IT. Cameron 9th grade freshman this year and is on the Varsity 1 Norwin Inline Hockey team. Logan is in 2nd grade and...yep...plays on the Elementary Inline Hockey Team. Needless to say, I am VERY involved in Norwin Inline Hockey Club sitting on the Executive Board and serving as club president. I love the sport and love building a club that currently benefits about 55 Norwin students. In my 'spare' time...I can be found spending time with my wonderful boyfriend of nearly 5 years, his girls and my boys. All together, we are darn near a Partridge family! As a matter of fact, my boyfriend and I are in a band together called Most Wanted. We don't get to play out as much as we would like but...is it any wonder why? keep in contact with Sharon (Tinsley) Long. Workplace My 'work life' is the ultimate Cinderella story... Moved to Utah after graduation and first worked flipping burgers. Through my cousin, I got an Office Manager position at an Escrow Company. Managed to screw that job up and finally landed with my passion...working for a group of veterinarians. I was so very happy there until... I moved back to PA when my parents divorced and ran the gammot of jobs from Denny's (waitress) to Brandy's (bartender) to Harper Chevrolet (office) before settling at Management Science Associates for 14+ years. At MSA, I grew-up from Secretary to Supervisor to Assistant Manager. 6 years ago, I was recruited to my current company, Vocollect. I began as an Executive Assistant and am now a Product Management Coordinator (in the Product Management department). I am very happy in this position and my role in the new product development process. Planning to further my education in this realm. College at age 43? You have GOT to be kidding!
