Wendy's Story

My whole life story would read like an emmy award winning soap opera, but as of Jan.18,2011, I have 20 days left till I retire. This will be my 41st year, most of it teaching music right here in Chicopee. CAS ruling now how we teach..in other words..teaching to test...and the fact that MCAS..really stands for Music Classes After School...I thought it was time for me to leave...I LOVE my job, but correcting math papers for part of the week, and being a tutor, was not what I signed up for in 1970...I will truely miss it.
