Wendy's Story
Life
I am thoroughly enjoying this new single phase of my life. I have two fabulous daughters Kimmy (19 years old) and Tori (18 years old). My youngest just graduated from San Marin!
Amazing how time flies!!!
My daughters have had many of the same teachers I did when I was going to school. Most of which retired shortly after teaching my girls (coincidence?) Hmmm.
Hope all is going well with you and yours! Drop me a line and let me know what's new.
Workplace
Eclectic Work history. I have enjoyed a variety of office experiences. First job out of high school was at the ever popular Fireman's Fund. Great people, thought the $17, 250 was a huge amount of money back then.
Changed gears when I had kids. Taught preschool for five years to stay near my kids and still have an income. Loved it, but was a much better mom when I didn't teach.
Loved working for Taylor Woodrow homes in Project Management. If they didn't move to Danville I would have stayed there forever.

unts and I met a few great people, I really could have gone without working in those companies. Glad to not have to have a job as of August 2006. Still looking for the fabulous job, but not in a rush. Found a great company in San Rafael then they moved to Novato so I am currently enjoying no commute!
I have a wonderful core group of friends that enjoy going to many local wine events in the Dry Creek, Alexander Valley, and Russian River areas. The Wine Posse is a lot of fun and we have branched out to other events too. The Butter & Egg Days or as we call it the Butter and Booze Days, Novato Art & Wine Festival, Visits to the Sonoma Square, etc. Our motto is to follow the fun and good times are had by all.
I have also joined the Novato Elks Lodge #2655 and enjoy many volunteer hours as their Activities Committee Chairperson. A wonderful group of people raising money and a glass to support Children with disabilities, veterans, and education.
I guess instead of a story you just got a book. Thanks for taking the time to stop by hope you are truley enjoying all that life has offered you!
