Wendy's Story
Life
I married Barry in 1987 and we moved to Germany for a year. Upon our return, we lived in Virginia, while he was finishing up his tour in the Army. We returned to Delaware in 1990 and settled into the Milford area. Our first son, Keith, was born in September of 1991. Our second son Eric, was born in December of 1994. When we returned to Delaware in 1990, Barry began working in the environmental field at Perdue Farms. I went to work for a local dentist as an assistant. he day. In 1994, I left the dental field to remain home and tend the children and the chickens. We sold the farm in 2002 and built a home in Sussex county. Keith is a Junior at Sussex Tech and Eric is in 8th grade at Milford Middle School. I teach at Milford High School in the Business Education department. Currently, I have completed my Masters in Seconday Education. Barry and I have a construction company, which has allowed Barry to step away from his position at Perdue Farms. He is completing his college education in May of 2009 and will continue to pursue his degree in family counseling.
