Wendy's Story
Life
After graduating from the University of Florida with a BS in Construction, I headed off to Atlanta to work for a commercial contractor. There I met my husband Richard with whom I just celebrated our tenth anniversary.
In 1997 I joined Fluor Daniel (now Fluor) as a safety manager -- my true career calling. I moved to the South Carolina "upstate" in 1998 and its true what they say, "nothing could be finer than to be in the Carolinas." t project of its kind in over 15 years in the US, and Fluor's re-entry into the nuclear market. The job is also 30 minutes from my house which is a bonus.
I have two beautiful boys -- Matthew who will be eight next month and Nathan who just turned five.
I'm currently working on my CSP and will enter the Industrial Hygiene Master's program next year through Tulane University.
I came back on here to "look around" since we will be going to hubby's 30th reunion this Saturday and it made me think about my high school days. Have to say -- I'm glad that they are over!
