Wendy is from Corydon, Indiana. She married Michael Sparks (1952-2017) Mt Zion 1970. She has two sons, Michael Paul and Benjamin Wyatt and five grandchildren, Alexus Jordan, Kinsey Marie, Caden Michael, Kora Louise, and Kelly Ray.
