Wendy's Story
Life
I live in Rockland County and have a 15 year old daughter named Sarah. I work as an occupational therapist in an adult home for the mentally ill. For anyone that remembers me, it is an appropriate place:) I spent five years living in Rapid City, South Dakota in the early nineties. Last time I passed by the old school on 18th and Irving, they were condos!! And reunions planned?
01/09/09 - Figured I would add a bit; I am not a paying member, so I cannot see who is signing guestbook. Oh well.
My daughter attends Westchester Hebrew High School and watching her go through the trials of teenagedom brings back so many memories of how tough it was for me to come to terms with my own identity, and make peace with who and what I was. I am sur...Expand for more
e there are others from my groups who are going through the same sort of things with their own children; I try not to make the same mistakes that my parents did, but in so many instances I see so much ( and also so little) of the influence of my mother within me.
But I guess this does not update you all on what I am doing..
Having never been married, and being a serial dater, I am now seeing a really nice guy from Long Island. It is a challenge with each passing year meet men who don;t wind up getting on my last nerve within the first three months. So far, we are at about six months...wish meluck!
I continue to work with the mentally ill as an Occupational Therapist; I travel alot, and love to cruise.
