Wenona's Story
For a long time my life was a roller coaster of change and uncertainity but I think it is finally good and stable. Some would call it boring. I call it nice.
I am a work at home mom of two wonderful (and crazy) children Arianna and Robby. My oldest, Tim, is in his twenties and out on his own. The kids are spaced far apart, there is 7 years between each one.
I am a small business owner, freelance writer, poet, and author.
If any of you remember I was the writer of the class...school newspaper, essay contest winner, The Flint Journal's Word Up writer, etc. Well, it took me awhile and a lot of crazy jobs in between but I made my way back to...Expand for more
writing and now I'm doing what I love. I can thank my husband for encouraging me to go back to writing and for working his butt off at a full time job that paid the bills until I actually started making money.
In my spare time (what is that?) I garden, craft, and do other domestic things I never thought I would be doing let alone enjoying. I was a bit of a wild child and marriage and domestic stuff was the last thing I ever wanted yet here I am and most of the time I love it. Just don't ask me to iron anything...ever and I don't enjoy cooking. The most dreaded question in my life is "What's for dinner?"
