Life
Ended up as an electrical engineer first with Boeing, then the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and finally Ford Motor. At Boeing I participated in evaluation of experimental RVs (that's re-entry vehicles... nukes). At the Applied Physics Laboratory it was Fleet Systems weapons for Dept of Navy. At Ford... well, cars. The technology in automotive is getting astronomical.
Live in the country with my 18 yo developmentally disabled son and serve the Lord. Biggest hobby right now is Glocking. I recently obtained a permit to carry a concealed pistol in Michigan. The last three years I have logged 301 hours of formal defens...Expand for more
ive handgun training classes and have built a pistol range in my back yard plus a 100 yard range for sighting in long guns. In 2002 I have completed an edged weapons class (16 hours). I believe this is necessary because most defensive situations occur at contact distance where a pistol is useless or a handicap. My pistol of choice for carry is the Glock 26. This has been dubbed the "baby glock" since it is ultra concealable. I am convinced that Glock makes the finest combat pistol on the planet.
I have some soil machining equipment which has proven quite useful. I dug a small pond for a friend with my back hoe. Done other work for other friends.
