Wilbert's Story
Life
After high school I attended business college in Winnipeg and upon graduation moved back to Moosehorn. In 1973 I started working at the Moosehorn Credit Union and worked there for 13 years. In 1986 I married Elma Plett from Wawanesa, Manitoba and we moved to Caronport, Saskatchewan where I attended Briercrest College and Seminary. position. Briercrest College and Seminary is a family of schools composed of a private Christian High School (250 students), a Bible College (600 students), and a Seminary (200 students). The school also owns and operates the Gas Bar/C-Store and the Pilgrim Inn right on the #1 highway. I find my work challenging but enjoyable. We have two children. Carson is now 23 and an avid hockey player (just like his dad used to be) and Destiny is 21 and loves playing fast-pitch softball. We enjoy life at Caronport.
