Willa Dean's Story
Life
Hi Everyone,
I am still living in Abilene, Texas. We have been here since 1975. This was Camilo last duty station and we decided it was where we wanted to make our permenant home. I went to work for Abertsons and was with them for a little over 30 years. They were closed down the first of August and I saw that as my chance to retire! And I am thoroughly enjoying retirement! We have two dogs who are our pride and joy. Tessa is a 4 years old Shih Tzu, we got her at 5 weeks, she weighed less than a lb! Now she is up to about 10 lbs. Then Lola is a chiweenie, born in May , so just a little over 6 months old. We got her at 2 months, weighed about 3 lbs and now she is up to 8.4lbs. She is my lap dog, loves to be held, snuggle and cuddle!
And of course we do have 3 children, all grown and out on their own. Jimmy is single and works for FEDEX. Michael is married and works at the Abilene State School. He will be going to school after the first of the year, for chef training. He has a daughter, Megan by his first marriage. She is 14 and very athletic. Dianne is married, has to boys, Aaron, 17 and Austin 13. They live down in Spring. Dianne is a branch manager at Amegy Bank. Her husband Ron works for Nabors Oil and travels all over the world, righ now he is in Africa for 15 day...Expand for more

Camilo was in the Air Force for 20 years, retired in 1979 and went to work for Athletic Supply. He is just working parttime for them now, but still keeping very busy, he loves what he does and can't see him ever quitting. He does get to play alot of golf tho' and that keeps him happy!
We hope to be home next year for Camilo's 50th class reunion. And maybe will see some of you then! Well got to run, nearly my bedtime. God bless and if anyone is ever in our area do look us up.
This is a picture of me and my grandson Aaron. He was going to his homecoming dance. He's very good looking, isn't he?
Momday 14 April, 2008. Good morning! We just had a great weekend! Drove down to Austin for the BPMS150. What an awesome site that was, over 17,000 bike riders made the ride from Houston to Austin. Our son-in-law Ron and grandson Austin were among them! Ron's company, Nabors Oil sponsored them. Think they were the smallest team entered, only 9 of them! Now Camilo(Marty) thinks he would like to do it sometime! Not me, I'll just watch thank you!
What a nice surprise to hear from Dalton last week! And now we are email buddies. Keep 'em coming Dalton! If anyone else wants to email me, please do. Well bye for now. Gong to post a picture of my guys at the Finish Line! So proud of them!
