Worked Gilroy Public Schools part time 1954-56. Sept.1956 Full Time drove 2 routes; assisted mechanic repairs on school buses, other vehicles. Was employed as mechanic until 1969. yed the challenge, put together facility/system that is still in use today. Days were long, my family was supportive. The reward: provide the Safest Vehicles and Work Environment, at best possible cost, keep Focus on Employees' SAFETY / Tax Payers' $$$$$ , achieved goal most of twenty plus years I was privileged to endure.
