William (Bill)'s Story
Life
After my tour in the service, I landed down in Texas and met a wonderful southern gal (LAURY, on Dec. 3rd 1980). and had planed to return to the northwest region of the states to start my life, but little did I know at the time I was already at my destination. Laury and I met on the job ,(where I had only planed to earn enough money for my trip back up north). Boy a lot can happen over a short period of time, 6 months later we got married, 2 years after that, we had our daughter Now after 25 years, and 2 wonderful children, Ashely 23, and Eric 17. we now have time for us,(no grand children yet, maybe some day) this July will be our 26th together. We like to cook together, camp, fish, or watch a movies at home if I can stay awake (lol). I've been in the transport...Expand for more
industry as a professional driver for the last 23 years, and currently a car-hauler of new vehicles to dealerships around the south central USA.
Well life always throws us curves. On Feb. 2 2010 I lost my wife to medical issue. We went through 5 years, a transplant which she survived 32 months. I still miss her i was so blessed for her to be in my life. We still have our two children one married the other not. But Laury was able to hold and see our first two grand children one from each child a g-daughter, and g-son.
I'm still hauling cars and love my job. planning on get a bike and taking another cross country ride like I did 31 yrs ago. Also want to take a cruse, skydive, and scuba dive. and then hope to find another good woman to finish out life together.
