William (Billy) Anderson:  

My Life; " Army Military Service and Beyond" - I Enlisted into the Army Military Service in the Field of "Army Aviation" (UH-1 "Huey" Helicopters - The Old Workhorse from 'Nam) in my Junior Year (30 October 1976) with my Half-Brother "Marty Hills" (High School Diving Team). I finished High School Early (I Had enough Credits built up from attending the First Two Years at Hermitage High School in Richmond, Virginia). I graduated from Carroll High School at the end of February 1977 (End of 2nd Semester). I departed to go to my Army Basic Training at the end of June 1977 at Fort Knox, Kentucky (The Starting Point of My Wonderful Career). I made a Career of it in the Military Service and Retired after 21 Years of Honorable Service on 1 July 1997 at Fort Irwin, California. I have also been Classified as a 30% Disabled Veteran from the Veterans Administration (VA). I completed (3) Tours in Korea; (1) Tour in Italy; and (4) Tours in the United States - Fort Lewis, Washington; Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Ord, California; and Fort Irwin, California. I completed (4) Major School Courses in the Army; at Fort Rucker, Alabama (UH-1 Helicopter Repairman Course); at Seoul, Korea (Primary Leadership Course - PLC); and Fort Eustis, Virginia (2) ( Aviation Life Support Equipment - ALSE; and the Basic Non-Commission Officer Course - BNCOC). I completed a Career Diploma (Wildlife and Forestry Conservation) through Home Study, and I have an Associates' Degree (AA) from the University of Maryland while serving in the Military. I also have a ton of Military and Civilian Awards (Too Many To List) that I earned throughout my two Career's with the Military.
