William Earl's Story

My first job after graduation was with the REA out ot Hartford, then E.W.Twitchell of Dothan, then helped my dad on the farm until July 1965 when I went to work at the shirt factory in Hartford. Got married to Marie Welch of Slocomb (one of those Redtops), Oct.22,1965 off for Army Basic Training in Ft. Benning, Ga. in December 19th 1965. I've traveled to about 15 ...Expand for more
States, out of country to Mexico while at Ft.Bliss,Texas. I've been overseas to Europe-Germany. Have 1 daughter, 2 sons, and 1 grandson. I've served 42 yrs.law enforcement, 29 yrs. with the Dothan Police Dept. 13 yrs. with the Dothan Airport Police-with 3 yrs as the Police Chief. Right now I am finally retired. I'm also retired Military with the Ala. Natl. Guard.
