Hi! Started SHS as sophmore in '39 with my friends Billy
Martin and Bob Hohner, both of whom joined the service. Only
Bill returned. I often think of them both and miss them.
My bum leg {infection called periostitis) required me to
use crutches while a sophmore. After awhile, no need to.
I loved oral English with Miss MacPhearson, Spanish with
Solano and Small,...Expand for more
and French with whose name I've forgotten.
My brother Ed was at SHS the same years. Bro Jim graduated
the year before. Got my BA and MBA late in life '72 and '77.
Most of my working life was as profession in youth serving organizations, BSA, BCA, orphans, handicapped, and
emotioally disturbed, etc. I teach ESL to immigrants and just reached 80 years on Oct. 9th, this year.
