William's Story
Life
(Up Date: in Feb-2008 I changed jobs. No more bottled-babies, now it's rockets and satellites. After years of supporting medical research I am now with the Naval Research Laboratory, they do every kind of science accept medical. Oh, and I finished the Graduate degree and I'm now thinking about when to start a PhD. )
Currently I'm working on my Graduate Degree in
"Interaction Design & Information Archetechture"
That keeps me busy.
So far its been fun, looking foward to the courses
on computer game design and development.
Although I've taken a break from scuba for the past year and a half I have gone diving off San Diego, Montarey, Seattle,
Hawaii, Massachussetts, New Jersey Delaware, North Carolina
Florida and the North of Scotland during the 1990's.
A few years ago a shot some photographs of human fetuses
in the Developmental Anatomy collection and my work was used in Alexander Tsiaras' book, "From Conception to Birth," and On the cover of the Nov. 11, 2002 issue of TIME Magazine.

Military
Well, In light of receint events I have to say
my 4 years active duty from 1983 to 1986 were a cake-walk, or maybe I should say a Folks-March,with beer & jeager schnittzle, I spent3.5 in Mannheim,Germany at Coleman Army Barrack(Which I've heard isn't there anymore).I did alot of travel and scuba diving on my free time.
Now I'm a Civy working on Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
It really sucks, seeing these boys half my age coming home from
Iraq with lost limbs. But I've got to say, they are very remarkable young people, they seem to bounce back fast.
I have a great deal of respect for this latest batch of soldiers they are some Real Super-Troopers !
Any prior-servicemember would be very proud of these young folks. I just hope this all pans out soon and they can all come home again.
