Life Well, I didn't really get to graduate with y'all. At the end of my junior year I left the Columbus area and moved to Birmingham, AL. That summer UAB recruited me into their early entry program for students that met certain criteria. At first I wasn't going to do it, then circumstances more or less forced me to do it. :) It was fun. So Spencer was my last HS of record. I ended up getting a job with the US Civil Service in Germany in 1982 after only completing one year of college. From there I ended up in Pensacola, FL where I continued my Civil Service career. I really had 2 careers. I began reffing and umping sports in the Columbus, GA and Ft Benning, GA area. I continued that in Germany and in FL. I have been doing that since 1978. For about 11 years, I ran a small business (125 employees)of umpires and referees. I finally had to give that up and get a personal life of sorts. I am not married.
