William's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met Marcia while I was in the Army stationed at the Technical Escort Unit, Edgewood, Maryland.
My Kids
They all are great kids and live their own lives (when not living with me) Ha. I have three Grand Kids and one Great Grand Kid, Amber Brook Wood, age 22 as of 2004, and is an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist (bomb squad) in the Air Force; Ashley Ann Mann, age 13 as of 2004, and will be entering the 9th grade; and then there is Savanna Marie Hoffstein, age 3 as of 2004, who thinks she is 18 . All of them are my little jewels. One is a finished diamond (Amber Brooke), the other two are still in the rough and getting polished.

e, security and transportation of chemical ammunition and bulk containers. After the Army, I worked for the Federal Government doing the same thing as I did in the military. I finally retired in 1999 from every job and now just volunteer my time and efforts and traveling the world. I find volunteering relaxing and try not to turn these jobs into work. When a job becomes work, I quit. Marcia and I travel at least once every 3 months.
Military
Over view: I was in the Army 3 times before I got it right. Enlisted 1957-1960 released as a Specialist Fifth Class (E-5); Mobilized (Texas National Guard) 1960-61 released as a Staff Sargent (E-6;finally retired as a MAJ (0-4) in 1982. Great career, served with great people, and enjoyed the places I visited and things I accomplished.
